I am able to drive in 100mm round, 100mm square, or Waratah Ezyslot strainer posts. Other sizes and types of strainers are concreted in.
Stays are attached at optimal angle to minimise the chance of 'jacking' the strainers. I have had very good success using various types of above-ground stayblocks, but will concrete the stays if the client prefers. I do not use concrete strainers, stays or line-posts. If a client requests line-posts (intermediate posts) in their fence I will use Waratah Maxy posts.
I always prefer to use quality products, particularly star posts and wire. Past experience has taught me that the cheaper brands never work as well, or will simply fail. It is very true that you get what you pay for!
